Cratered Landscape Height Maps Pack (5 Height Maps)

This pack contains 5 cratered landscape heightmaps. Ideal for use if you are creating a scene on a moon or an alien planet, whether it be an animation or video game level. One of these heightmaps is seamless so it can be tiled over a larger area if required.

All heightmaps are 4k PNG files and each heightmap comes with a diffuse and normal map.

Pack Technical Details:

Each Landscape Contains the Following:

• Height Map (PNG)
• Diffuse Map (PNG)
• Normal Map (PNG)
• (Preview Images)

For Example See Image below (also contains 2 preview images)

Texture Size: All textures are 4k and 4 are non-tiling and 1 is tillable (seamless).

Please note: The provided diffuse textures only work at a far distance from the height map. See example images. So up close and these do get pixelated (this is a common effect of any landscape height map if using one texture). If used in a games engine – a landscape material will likely be required. (No game engine Landscape Materials are provided in this pack).

Please note: It’s possible some of these height maps, may require some editing/sculpting if you were to use in a video game level or animation.

These are general purpose landscape height maps and were not created for a specific program.

Hence they are provided as PNGs which is a commonly accepted format in most 3D modelling and Games Engine software.
