LoMotion CG – Low Poly Tactical Shotgun
A versatile, low-poly style shotgun, perfect for action games PC, Console or Mobile. This models is optimised with only one texture and one material slot. The material is called, “Palette,” and this all ensures efficient performance and a consistent aesthetic across different programs. Not only ideal for stylised games, but also VR simulations, animations, and stylised environments.
UV Unwrap and Diffuse Texture (Palette):
As this model is made with a low poly style, a single texture with a small array of different colours has been used. The Unwrap is very straight forward and simply the model faces are placed over different colours over the palette texture. Technically no texture is needed at all, and built in base colours (in your 3D Program) can be used. Although using a texture means just one material is required for the entire model and also it maintains consistency across different 3D programs. (E.g. Blender to Unreal Engine).
A lower resolution texture could be used, but staying with slightly higher resolutions does mean that colour blending can be used as well in the colour palette texture (if edited in a paint program). Also it’s easy to create new colour palette texture and swap them around if looking for a different look.
Easy to Update and Adapt:
Due to the low poly design and simply UV unwrap it is easy to update this model, edit or tweak then as is required for your use.
Scale:
The model has been made to a scale that matches the Unreal Engine Mannquin (that stands 1.8 meters (180cm) tall). Although it would be straight forward to scale the model to match more specificially your characters.
