How to stop the Landscape from deforming in Unreal Engine – Quick Tip #2
If you are new to Unreal engine and the landscape deforms when moving the viewport, camera or your character, this can easily be stopped. Simply go to ‘Lit’ at the top of the viewport and select ‘LOD’ and ‘Fixed at ‘0’. That’s it :)
Please note though this could have a serious impact on the performance of your game – so use with caution and you may not be able to use this setting if the performance is badly effected. I use this primarily for cinematics where I am moving the cine camera and I don’t want the landscape to deform!
