
Unreal Engine – How to create a video slider/scroller bar.
In this tutorial I go over how to create a video with a scroller/slider bar in Unreal Engine.
This tutorial is quite long, but there are several key parts to go over as noted above in chapter points, but if you already have a video(s) set up you can jump straight to the Widget section. Also I have added screen shots of the graphs below.
Please note that there is more than one way to do this and you don’t necessarily have to use a widget for the video. The video be in a seperate blueprint and the slider/progress bar could be in a widget. This likely would make it more performent. But Unreal Engine (and most games engines) are very flexible so there are different ways in which this could be gone, but this covers one of them.
